Acupuncture & Dry Needling Therapy

Traditional acupuncture has been employed as a health care modality for well over 5000 years. At Whyte Avenue Chiropractic & Wellness, we offer this ancient treatment with compounding benefits. This natural healing art involves inserting ultra fine needles into the body at specific points along different meridians on the body to manipulate the body’s life or energy force, known as the “Qi.” Acupuncture focuses on correcting imbalances of this life force, which allows for natural healing.

Get in touch to book an appointment today. At Whyte Chiropractic & Wellness, we are available all week, and our acupuncturist, Danielle Drapaka, will attend to you.

What To Expect

At your first appointment, you will have an in-depth discussion with your attending acupuncturist about your general medical history, a review of the symptoms you are experiencing, and your lifestyle habits. This information will help in formulating a plan suited just for you.

Contrary to what you may have thought, needle-insertion is not a painful experience. That you have a fear for needles shouldn’t stand in the way of you enjoying all the outlined benefits of acupuncture. We encourage you to ask any questions you may have about acupuncture because we recognize all too well the benefits of a relaxed mind, going in.

Our traditional acupuncture sessions last, on average 45 minutes to an hour.
